We are detail-oriented, result-driven professionals who specialize in offering business consulting services spanning a range of service areas. We started off our careers like most professionals, performing the tasks allocated to us. But, as time passed, we realised that we were working more and learning less. We also began to realize that, at any given point of time, there was more than converged upon our tasks than we could see. We, in our own individual way, realized quickly that the key for us was to learn across the board, and that the services we offer must converge various areas of expertise.
Quickly, we began to learn about others areas of work that were related to our core expertise and began figuring out ways to improve each by enhancing the other. Things, as they say, led to things, and we started off our consulting careers by consulting for the very organization where we worked as full-time employees. After that, there was no stopping.
We have been consulting now for several years and have been adding more to our skill set in terms of both capability and insight. With every contract, therefore, we bring more on board and can reflect enhancements in our skills in all other projects at the same time. With over 45 years of experience in electrical engineering, powerhouse design, and program leadership, Brian is the wise force behind some of the most complex and cutting-edge energy systems across Africa’s mining sector. As Chief Electrical Engineer and Senior Program Manager, he blends technical mastery with strategic insight — engineering multi-megawatt power systems, transforming compliance and safety standards, and delivering high-impact solutions across projects spanning languages, cultures, and continents. Along the way, he’s built capable local teams, trained future leaders, and brought order to complexity with calm precision. A quiet strategist with deep technical instincts and a mindset tuned to balance, efficiency, and long-term impact — Brian doesn’t just work with the Force — he rewires it for maximum efficiency.
Leading the tribe of seasoned pros is Ross Nel. Ross is the Swiss Army knife of the technical world — seamlessly blending design draughtsmanship, electrical and mechanical engineering, and project management into one impressive package since 2004. As head of R&D and all things technical, he combines a genius for problem-solving with a look straight out of a mad scientist’s lab — complete with hair that's almost as chaotic as the challenges he tackles. His loud, infectious laugh is as legendary as his ability to turn complex problems into innovative solutions. When he's not leading technical breakthroughs, you’ll find him orchestrating the perfect braai — proving that whether it’s tech or tender steaks, Ross is a master of his craft.
